Customer service is supremely weak, lack of communication, lack of follow through and predictability. Trades they hire cut too many corners and workmanship is subpar until they redo the item 4 times.

Communication was great concerning dates and times of walk throughs. Didn't like that the sewer line backed up into our house a week after move in. But, Aspen was on top of the incident and had the issue fixed quickly. [name removed] was great with communicating each step to completion.

I was not present for the final walkthrough and the cosmetic issues that I found a few days later were not taking care of (I did received two gallons of pain so I could take care of them myself) Also, every time the temperature is low outside I don’t get to use one of the showers upstairs and on top of that the bathrooms upstairs have gotten clogged up! I am very disappointed with what I got for the price I paid!

I was not given the chance to walkthrough before signing the contract (due to my urgent need to move, I was coming from out of town), and when I called to let them know about the issues all I got was “that’s cosmetics we don’t cover that”. I paid a lot of money for this house to be given that kind of response

[name removed] Covenant people are horrible and there has been some warranty issues that have not been addressed in going on over 6 months.

Overall, it was a great experience. [name removed] main issue I had was the heat and air temps in the upper level. It stays really hot in the summer and really cold in the winter. [name removed] amount of money spent, one would think that the home would be comfortable always, that is not the case.

[name removed] smaller things are not top priority and take longer, but that's not a "sticking point". [name removed] getting the rock in our window wells after 5.5 months is disconcerting and irritating. We've spoken to the warranty people, [name removed] and [name removed] and are still waiting. We were told it would occur when the rock and grass were laid in the front yard back in May. It's the end of August and all of our neighbors, even those who closed in the last month, have the rock but we don't. [name removed] sure what the problem is, why it's taken so long and why we have been singled out, but we don't like it.

My sales rep was great she did her best to try and keep things going in a good direction. My first problem is Aspen View did not meet their dead line for delivery. They actually missed it by 2 months I was told June but the home was not ready until the end of September. Second is I had to get a full Roof replacement soon as I move in. If I would not have gotten my own inspector I would have never known. Third we had a leak in the piping for the laundry which caused water to come out through the kitchen lights. These are all pretty major incidents in my opinion.

Warranty needs better follow up. Last time painters came, they knocked and didn't allow enough time for us to reach the door. They left and we never received follow up or a reschedule request. No follow up on any other items on the list.

Everything was a positive experience except there were a few things not fixed or not corrected a month later. As far as the homes and contract process, this was great.

Minimal communication from salesperson, not offered all options, had to fight to purchase options we have, projects completed weeks after move in, without any heads up on dates, treatment was poor overall. Have to constantly pester salesperson to get work completed. Warranty claims (emergency) were put off until the next week, and still not resolved. Had to keep pestering to get standard items installed/completed. Contractors left large stones/boulders/rocks outside of window well, instead of removing them at end of job. Contractors planted tree that was almost dead, when the neighbors have full, vibrant trees. Sprinkler system leaks both above ground and below. Promises were made about lot/adjoining lots at time of purchase, only to find out otherwise.
