Purchase Experience Testimonials from Real Homebuyers

Service is pretty ok. May have had to call the warranty guy more than once to remind him of what was agreed. I was willing to be flexible as he seems to have a huge workload. Therefore sometimes it seems he forgets the commitment, but it definitely always gets taken care of in the end. Importantly, every one is super courteous and helpful. My major challenge with this home is my stairway carpeting. I showed the warranty guy the stains and peeling at the seams of the “new” carpet after I had a leak and had workmen in and out fixing it. He promised to look into changing it. Then when the carpet changers came to change the room that was flooded, they said they were never told about the stairs. The carpet is still a disappointment and an eyesore in my almost perfect home. Other than that poor choice of carpet n bob replacement, the other experiences are ok. And yes! My front door paint started peeling almost immediately.

They built a very great home. And kept to schedule abd quality. No surprises. A couple of the construction after sale promises were not kept though, but that's an individual staff people issue. Overall the brand is super

I,like the service when I complain about something that needs to be done. I wish the cleanup was thoroughly done and don’t have to remind about touch up jobs on the interior and exterior paint as well as cracks on the driveway which I was not happy with the repair. I’ll repair the cracks which I believe I can do better when temperatures are more bearable to do outside work

There would be nothing I would change. As a first time home buyer, the Classic Homes team made me feel at ease and made the entire process easy and enjoyable! I knew exactly what I wanted and they were able to provide all the assistance I needed.

What I liked was the women in the office Carol is wonderful and she always took time to talk to me for almost a year when my daughter and me would come to look at the homes and say which one we were going to get. Carol always made us feel comfortable and a part of Hannah Ridge before we even moved in. Carol thank you for being you. What I disliked is when I tried to use Classic Homes builder lender, John Walker. He was horrible. He was not helpful at all he did not help me get approved nor did he make me feel comfortable. All he could say to me is that he had 40 years of experience and that I would need a co-signer. See I sold my old home and was able to purchase a new home and I had paid all my debt. I needed a lender to help me improve my creator as a lender is suppose to do. John Walker told me that a conventional was the same as a FHA loan and I told him that I know that they were not the same and that I was going to go with a different lender and Thames him. When that happened I received and email from Classic Homes stating they where bummed to hear that I would not be purchasing our home at 7316 Cracker Jack Heights. See John told Classic this after I told him I was using a different lender because I believed he thought I could not afford the home because of my color and race. I also end up paying my own closing costs because I could not find another lender that would cover it. The process of buying our home was rough. But I thank Carol for her nice personality and being who she is. I am still having some things to be looked at but I also thank Jacob for helping with those things such as my cracked concrete on my drive way. I believe that some of the things should have been looked at more closely such as my kitchen sink pipes and faucet being put on backwards and my sputtered pipes that were heard during inspection and just were fixed. See don’t get me wrong my daughter and I love our home and I am the kind of person that likes things to be done correctly and right. When you put a lot of money out for a new home a car or anything it should be done correctly and when a client asked. I feel that when I told Classic that something was still not fixed they came to take care of it. I feel that I am a good patient and understanding client and deserve things to be correct when stated they should be. Overall besides John Walker and things that still need to be looked at like the bent door on our dishwasher we are glad we are glad to be in our new home.

Only dissatisfied with the lack of follow through on the punch list. Many items are still unfinished in our home and there has been no communication on an expected timeline for completion.
