The purchase process was as easy as it could be to purchase a new home. Everyone involved, from my realtor, to the agent and the mortgage company staff, was truly invested in making this experience for us easy and obtainable. Huge thank you to Mr. [name removed] who walked with me through the whole approval process by helping me reach the necessary credit life to purchase my first home. [name removed] was absolutely instrumental in making this life-changing process for myself and my boys an enjoyable and memorable one. Her patience allowed me make many questions which were always answered swiftly and with efficacy. Any concern was addressed with patience and knowledge. She continues to be available for any concerns and questions and to be that is exceptional service. We definitely feel like we’re part of the family. There were several concerns with the home before moving in such as a faulty stove, low water pressure in guest bathroom and some roofing issues. These were taken care of immediately so that our home was ready. This gave me much peace of mind. Thank you to all the crew involved. Move-in was simple enough. No major issues as my family and I moved in and became familiar with our new home. There were some issues with the cleanliness of the home, which we took care of, but would have wanted it to be taken care of before moving in. And by this I mean things such as bottom of counters not cleaned, closets not vacuumed, and caulking on laminate on several spots. Nothing a little elbow grease wouldn’t fix but, would have preferred not to do it myself. Especially since we were told at final walkthrough that it would be cleaned. Now, as we have approached our thirty day walkthrough, there have been some additional concerns with the home that have or will be taken care of. [name removed] has been very helpful and swift in setting up our repairs. He is genuinely concerned with making our home as perfect as possible and with minimal interruption to our home life. Now, I do have to mention that there is a disheartening situation with our purchase. The inability to receive mail at our home and the far distance to pick it up makes it a bit difficult to be 100% satisfied with our new move. I am not sure that anything can be done through our family builder, but support is needed. As tax payers and members of this community we deserve better. Aside from this we are truly happy with our home and are extremely excited to fill it with memories.

The process from finding the home to move in was smooth and seamless. We purchased the home out of state. [name removed] our sales representative was very informative and kept us up to date with each step of the process.

I am disappointed in many of the materials used in the building process. They are not to a quality I was expecting. Perfect example is the paint. It is not good quality and was very carelessly applied with no consideration for fixtures, hardware or even floors and windows. There are a few other areas I wish desert view would have spoken to the subcontractors to ensure quality products and well executed installation not fast and haphazard. I am very impressed with many of the additional feature desert view added to the home like the water filter and smart home features which makes me even more disappointed that these other areas were so poorly overseen by desert view homes.

What I enjoyed the most was the constant support and responsiveness from [name removed] and the Desert [name removed] team throughout the process. [name removed] was attentive, kind, and willing to walk with us step by step — especially important as first-time homebuyers navigating a new country, language, and system. The process wasn’t always easy, but [name removed]’s willingness to explain everything clearly and find ways to support us financially and logistically made a huge difference. We always felt heard and supported, and for that we’re very grateful. We love our new home, and we're excited to start this new chapter!

I very much appreciated that we got weekly reports on the progress of our home. [name removed] was very patient and took time out to answer any questions about our home along with giving us tours through the building process.
