Grand homes employees are the best at doing their job. [name removed] was absolutely excellent during the contract phase, [name removed] was amazing at guiding us through design selections and suggestions and [name removed] made our dream home come to life in the most beautiful way. He built us a home we dreamed. We have been living in the house since a month now and have no complaints on the build quality. Con's we noticed as soon as we moved in: 1. Could have had more Quartz options during design selection phase 2. After moving into the house the very next day all our door knobs fell offf includin the main door lock. 3. Carpet needs fixing upstairs already

I loved how Ms [name removed], our sales lady made us feel comfortable and she was very knowledgeable and walked us through the process seamlessly. She bridged the gap and relationship to a great working relationship with our builder [name removed] at the time. When [name removed] left it was very difficult but she was able to bridge the gap for our new builder [name removed] and also [name removed] helped as well.

The entire buying process was terrible for us especially with the sales person we had to work with who is not with the company anymore. We were not told of many options that were available and were denied of many requests after we learnt about the options. The build quality is good and the builder was fair enough. Overall the buying experience was the worst but the quality of the home is pretty good so far with a very few minor issues. I am hopeful to receive prompt warranty response to requests during 1 year inspection.

Our warranty guy, [name removed], has been great! My issue is with the builder who was assigned to our home. We are EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the quality of home we moved into. He was unresponsive, and many items werent taken care of from our walks. I want to escalate this, and give an opportunity to make things right before I talk about my experience online and on social media.

I was very happy and excited to be associated with Grandhomes because of the reputation and awards I saw and heard elsewhere. I wanted to be as patient as possible for last 10 months and sadly, it's become a nightmare to deal with warranty or builder. For example, 10 months into the home, we are not able to get the curtain/shades installation complete, because the walls and ceilings needs re-painting due to the drywall jobs done from (Grand homes and Rio) in December and January to address ceiling bumps. I have been bounced around 3 builders, who sometimes respond and mostly not. Similar stories with Warranty and other items like mismatched panels on the French glass door replacements and etc., Sometimes there are attempts to fix them, partially fixed and no follow-ups whatsoever. I am ending up walking around homes which are under construction in the hope of finding someone to talk to and sometimes wait for 10-15 mins to talk, all while paying premium price for the product and taking breaks from my full-time job to get things done. This is very frustrating and irresponsible on behalf of Grand Homes. I was really hoping best builder meant something, but in my experience, I ended up with a GRAND headache. Unfortunately, I will have to take this feedback beyond the Grandhomes and make sure everyone is aware of the ongoing headaches. I have waited to get this feedback to a better one, if at all my issues were resolved, but it's taking forever.

Liked the Grand Homes overall build quality. Did not like the grading of my home as water stands during rain, grass is very uneven and around driveway lot of leftover concrete underneath the thin layer of grass. Some cracks and water leaks.

I liked the flexibility to customize my floor plan. What I disliked: 1. Communication is very bad 2. Not able to see my floor customized plan before city approval 3. Limited selection at the design center 4. No response from management on escalation requesting their attention 5. No proper hand over from sales department to the architectural/building department 6. Worst of all the quality of the insulation. I cannot turn on the ceiling fan downstairs because it is very loud in the above bedroom upstairs.

Our journey with grand homes started with a very inexperienced sales associate who had no clue on available options, ongoing promotions and were completely misguided on relator rebates and ongoing promotions at that time. We were not told about available customizable options, and we had to do our own research online / Youtube from Minneapolis. When approached with customizations, we were turned down by Grand homes management. This was extremely disappointing for us, and we were not entertained when approached to senior management with our concerns. We incurred additional cost to renovate the home upon closing which should have part of the actual plan. The only good experience we had with Grand Homes was with [name removed], our builder who was very welcoming and addressed all our issues and concerns. With us being out of state, he did a pretty good job with keeping us posted every week on progress and also delivering the home in time for closing.

Like: Quick and easy process initially with contracting. I liked being able to come into and check on the house periodically. And I liked being able to have access to [name removed] when we found issues or areas that we were concerned about. Dislike: We ran into quite a few issues through the building process (fence was placed incorrectly for our build line, the bar area under our stairs wasn't initially cut properly, our kitchen island cabinets were not sized appropriately so we had to have that changed, etc. There were a lot of minor and major things that we had to call out vs it just being done correctly). From move in - it was very rushed because of our interest rate hold that was expiring and there were a lot of things that weren't fully cleaned up until well after move in (power washing garage, debris in the backyard, etc). We still haven't been able to fix the smurf tubes for the HDMI cable to fit through for our Frame TV.

[name removed] [name removed] warranty service has been always on the top of the issues which we had reported. They took care of all those issues on timely fashion. After moving in we found leakage with our irrigation system which they got it looked up quickly and got that fixed for us. One of the tree in our front yard was died and they replaced it with new one.

The customization ootions at [name removed] were outstanding and the subsequent layout of the home os great. On the negative side is some of the contractors left things a little untidy/unfinished or not real clean. But the"bones" of the house seem solid and again the [name removed] Employees have been wonderful.

Since closing in January 2022, we had several different warranty specialists. Some known but not helpful. Some just not even known or available. For the first two months, we thought our builder ([name removed]) was our warranty specialist because (other than [name removed]) no one from the warranty team (or [name removed] Homes) had reached out to us even when we submitted several warranty service request emails (All we received were the thank you emails from [name removed].) This is the reason why we stopped sending our email requests (although we were told that this is the best way to communicate with the Warranty [name removed].) For the last 3 months, [name removed] has been our warranty specialist and we really appreciate his help. He listens to our problems, coordinates with the internal teams as well as the third-party service providers, and follows up with them to ensure our issues have been resolved. Hope this continues as we still have few open issues with the master shower and garage door. Please note that our ratings/scores on this survey are based on our overall experience with the warranty service/customer care and does not reflect solely on our experience with [name removed]. (If it was, we'd be happy to give perfect scores.) Thank you.

[name removed] studio. - They focused on selling what we did not want. And missed what we really need. They did give an option to upgrade tub to shower. Later they said it’s late. My fireplace is mounted too high. It is not in accordance with my initial meet with builder. Builder made a mistake and very strongly denied the fix. Building plan had error. Builder denied the fix although we identified it during framing. Now we have an unexpected and useless wall stuck in the living room.

For the last 3 months, [name removed] has been our warranty specialist and we really appreciate his help. He listens to our problems, coordinates with the internal teams as well as the third-party service providers, and follows up with them to ensure our issues have been resolved. Hope this continues as we still have few open issues with the master shower and garage door. The entire buying process was terrible for us especially with the sales person we had to work with who is not with the company anymore. We were not told of many options that were available and were denied of many requests after we learnt about the options. The build quality is good and the builder was fair enough. Overall the buying experience was the worst but the quality of the home is pretty good so far with a very few minor issues. I am hopeful to receive prompt warranty response to requests during 1 year inspection.

I was very happy and excited to be associated with Grandhomes because of the reputation and awards I saw and heard elsewhere. I wanted to be as patient as possible for last 10 months and sadly, it's become a nightmare to deal with warranty or builder. For example, 10 months into the home, we are not able to get the curtain/shades installation complete, because the walls and ceilings needs re-painting due to the drywall jobs done from (Grand homes and Rio) in December and January to address ceiling bumps. I have been bounced around 3 builders, who sometimes respond and mostly not. Similar stories with Warranty and other items like mismatched panels on the French glass door replacements and etc., Sometimes there are attempts to fix them, partially fixed and no follow-ups whatsoever. I am ending up walking around homes which are under construction in the hope of finding someone to talk to and sometimes wait for 10-15 mins to talk, all while paying premium price for the product and taking breaks from my full-time job to get things done. This is very frustrating and irresponsible on behalf of Grand Homes. I was really hoping best builder meant something, but in my experience, I ended up with a GRAND headache. Unfortunately, I will have to take this feedback beyond the Grandhomes and make sure everyone is aware of the ongoing headaches. I have waited to get this feedback to a better one, if at all my issues were resolved, but it's taking forever.

Liked the Grand Homes overall build quality. Did not like the grading of my home as water stands during rain, grass is very uneven and around driveway lot of leftover concrete underneath the thin layer of grass. Some cracks and water leaks.
