The Adventure Park was initially a major selling point for purchasing our home, however it's been underwhelming to say the least. The pool facilities themselves are fantastic. The splash pad isn't functioning the way it should be. Whenever I bring my children there, only some of the sprinklers are operating and not consistently. The onsite play area is either not very safe or effective. There are other areas of the adventure park that could be utilized better as well. We were under impression that the club house could be used by the community more often, however that doesn't appear to be the case. The development of shopping in the city has been lackluster to say the least. It's also disappointing that for a city with homes that are valued into the 7 figures after upgrades, the latest "big openings" are a KFC and a Burger Joint. Starbucks is fine and doesn't make sense, but I don't believe that I'd be as invested into Minto and [name removed] in particular if I'd known that this would be the direction the development would be going down. Additionally some of the H.O.A guidelines feel incredibly restrictive (fencing, inability to grow fruit trees, unable to build a backyard shed, etc.) although I was more prepared to make those sacrifices because I thought there would be more bang for the buck. What I love the most is that the community feels safe, warm and inviting for people with children. So that in addition to the fact that my builder built a quality home makes it otherwise worthwhile.

Everyone we dealt with and worked with has been great. The communication since the very beginning all the way until closing date and beyond has been outstanding. Truly enjoyed working with our sales rep - [name removed], the builder superintendent - [name removed], and now the Master Care superintendent [name removed]. The staff working at the Sales and Design Center were also very helpful and professional. The only thing that I could say I disliked a little bit was the pricing for some of the upgrades, plus the additional cost (depending on the level chosen) for installation.

It has not been a pleasant experience dealing with after care, the response time on issues, on resolving issues, I am still waiting on plants that were supposed to be swapped out since closing on 2/1. Not everyone working for [name removed] are in the same page, not to mention the never ending list of contractors one has to deal with post closing.

[name removed] has also been supportive and appreciated his inputs when it was needed. The quality of the work of the subcontractors is disappointing in most cases (flooring, paint, drywall, cabinets). Subcontractors for windows, garage doors, electric system, countertop, irrigation, HVAC, roof have been efficient in their service and sis not have to come back thereafter.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with our builder and our sales rep [name removed] and [name removed]. [name removed] has been coordinating work orders has been professional and responsive with us. We have been dissatisfied with the quality of a few items on our home and the lack of ability to correct them. The quality of paint is terrible – it washes off the wall with just water and a cloth. The paint on the garage floor is worn down. [name removed] originally mentioned this is something that could be corrected with epoxy at our one year. The floors and grout were not sealed and very easily have stained beyond what should’ve happened in one year. We have had one window that has had to be repaired twice since we have moved in. Also, the quality of the doors is very poor. They are wearing easily and pocket doors have been fixed multiple times. Our landscaping is also unclean. We have shorter plants planted behind, very tall plants and no symmetry. We would also like to have some trees removed since we have 7 on our small lot - this seems out of ratio. Out of all these issues, the paint and floors are our biggest concerns.

My whole experience with [name removed] and [name removed] was unacceptable, unprofessional, stressful just to name a few. The lack of communication, follow up and unreliability was applauding. Having to contact the vendors one specifically to schedule my own work unacceptable! Not given any assistance to do so unacceptable! The bribes unacceptable! There was absolutely nothing great about having them as my representative my entire experience was an epic failure. It wasn’t until my 6 month inspection when they both knew how upset I was did they decide to finally do there job and I am confident it was because they knew I wasn’t happy and they had a survey coming out for them. I have every text to prove their unprofessional, lack of communication and follow up on their end. I was hoping my daughter who just closed in her home didn’t get either one of them but she unfortunately ended up with [name removed]. I hope my experience is a learning process for [name removed] and she will take better care of my daughter and any owner for that matter than she did me. I like that Minto is building a beautiful environment that is aesthetically pleasing. I don't like that majorly of the Minto employees are overwhelmed because of under staffing. Making it tough to manage projects, work orders, and response time.

The only thing we would change is the ability to be able to add upgrades after our selections. While it was made clear that after our A & B selections were made it COULD NOT be changed. a few days after we selected our floors we did want to upgrade our tile selection. While we were not taking away anything we wanted to add and it was disappointing. The house was not even started, Minto should allow some changes within a certain time frame. This being our first experience home building that was disappointing.

It gives me piece of mind to know that anything that does come up like our electrical or flooring issues will be taken care because of the great Warranty services offered by [name removed]. I appreciate the hardwork of our Mastercare [name removed]. [name removed] who has worked with us to resolve any issues we have had with the home as they occur. What I do dislike so far is some of the contractors that are sent to help resolve problems covered by the Warranty services. I did pay extra for multiple upgrades in my home and when issues occur like with my master bathroom floor and the uneven flooring it should be fixed with my concerns in mind and not so easily dismissed by the contractors hired by minto.
