[name removed] and [name removed] are friendly and help us a lot, the house looks fine in general, but there are still some dissatisfied places of our house. First, our house has the crickets problem and it should be solved totally by the builder before we move in. Also, the heater is on the attic instead of in garage, and there's no gasoline in the backyard. We didn't know that until the orientation that we had no choice to accept those things.

we really had a great experience working with [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed]. There are some small misses here and there but [name removed] and clay helped getting them finished after closing and on time. Raised couple of warranty requests for some of the issues and [name removed] was very professional in explaining why the issues occurred and having them fixed. Recently we had a water leakage at the guest bed room window during the storm and [name removed] made sure all of the areas are thoroughly examined and covered(like roofing, glass company, clauking and grouting). we are no longer experiencing leakage so far. 10 STARS to [name removed] 10 STARS to [name removed] 9 STARS to clay.

As a first-time home buyer, the overall process for me rates is 5. This rating is due to the need for more communication regarding the selection process. Everything from choosing the elevation, electrical options, lighting, and design studio could have been better laid out and explained. I love the quality of my home, but I could not make some choices because I didn't know I needed to make them. At each stop, I was expected to know exactly what I wanted and understand all the real estate jargon. For example, I had to make electrical options in Jan with a lighting appointment in May, and unknowingly didn't select the option for "pendants." When I got to [name removed] in May, I expected to have the chance to choose lights hanging above my kitchen island and discovered my home wasn't wired for lights above the island because of the choices I made in Jan. It makes sense to me that this is a significant selection that most people want, but was buried in an electrical selection spreadsheet. There was no opportunity to make changes by this time, which was another reason for the 5 rating. [name removed] to mention the blast email on having to wait five months for black frame windows, leaving my self and neighbors stuck with making exterior color selections based on having black frame windows. [name removed] also rushed the closing process on my home to finish construction before Christmas, and there were at least four unresolved issues. For example, I selected a garage door with windows, and a month after closing, I'm still waiting for the right one.Overall, [name removed] needs to understand better that although everyone wants a home, not everyone builds homes for a living. There are some times during this process to ensure the buyer understands the gravity of the choices they are making and not assume everyone knows.

Like: The build quality is excellent. They stocked to the timeline they committed. The sales manager [name removed] was awesome. Probably the best I have worked with. Dislike: The attitude of the construction manager when we signed the contract wasn’t welcoming maybe due to the high demand of homes. But surprisingly he was more responsive at the end stages of the home build.

Sales office was great. [name removed] was very helpful. The design process was terrible. Our design person [name removed] was 0 help, she did not respond in a timely fashion, and once we came in for an appointment with her where she let us wait for 45 mins just to have a colleague come tell us she wouldn’t be able to see us that day. [name removed] our CM has been great. Always responsive and keeping us in the loop. Our frustration lies more with the vendors than [name removed] because they are not timely in completing tasks when they say. For example we have been in the house for over a month. We have had numerous items that weren’t completed or done incorrectly. So we set time with the vendor to come fix it and they don’t show or we put in a work order and never get a call to set appointments. Some of the issues we have had since moving in have been frustrating bc they are things that should have been checked and completed long before we moved in. Overall I’ve heard horror stories from others so we don’t feel our experience was bad, but definitely see areas for improvement. I want to reemphasize that [name removed] and [name removed] were great along the way.
