Purchase Experience Testimonials from Real Homebuyers

San Antonio, TX, on Aug 18, 2024

Everything was perfect, however communicating the lender was not as efficient as all other aspects in the purchasing process. We felt we were prompting them to conduct their job duties as we ourselves contacted the company webpage vendors in order to have the application link fixed. Additionally, the lender would often miscommunicate with us, which ultimately could have impacted our closing. No other issues at all, we are very satisfied with our home.

The buying process was a mess, the first sales guy lied to me or didn't know what he was talking about when it come to the warranties.then we were going to buy another house in the next street over but he lied or didn't know what he was talking about when he told us how much we would pay for it.didnt know until the next day when he called and said sorry I know I said this prise but it's really this.guy was a mess. Almost backed out of buying a house in this area because he made you seem real shady.when it came to fixing stuff in the inspection the guy in charge at the time argued with me on a few things, didn't want to fix everything that said was needed to fix.my husband had to reach out to his boss to get anything done. Finally a fire was lite and barely got most of the issues done minutes before closing on the house, literally same day, within 30 mins. Had some warranty items come up since then. Bad experience with that. One item that wasn't done before closing on the house was some floors that were messed up. Warranty people finally "fixed" that issue with sending someone out and replacing with the wrong color flooring, now I have a bigger issue with that. I still have flooring that needs fixed in the upstairs bathroom but now I'm scared to let them mess with that be cause they will just mess it up like they did in my kitchen. Then I had a toilet that wasn't working correctly. First people came out and said they fixed it but didn't second guy who came out said I needed a new toilet. In the process of figuring that out he had to take my out. He cut my floor in that bathroom, now I have flooring issues in the bathroom. Warranty guy that works for you guys agreed with me when I told them if they put the toilet I liked down with the bigger base I would forget about the cute because [name removed] bigger base would hide it. Overall, the buying process was the worse, and the contractors you guys have hired to do stuff in the homes suck, and are not good at their jobs. I work in the home fixing/maintenance field and your subcontractors are subpar. Warranty people say thales can't really do anything to with the fence, guess I'll have to fix it. Not here for a year yet and the back fence looks really bad. Wasn't installed correctly the first time by whoever you guys hired. Again they didn't care about their work, only their paycheck.

My only complaint is that the master bedroom door was not hung properly and has gotten worse.

It takes forever, if at all, to get a response from the team. The former team with Victoria, Alanzo, Mario were more responsive and the HOA is TOXIC working aganist the residents rather than for them

None of the neighborhood amenities are available for use as promised; especially the pool as it is STILL under construction even though we are paying HOA fees.

Information needed on plumber whom worked the house, electrical number of person done work in the house. Before I bought the house it was very cool temperature wise, seems the house does not cool. Need assistance who do I call. I just need help.

I liked the style of the home, the neighborhood, and I liked the filtered water system that came with the home. I wish the home came with ceiling fans and a fireplace but other than that the home is beautiful and comfy.

Alot of lies just to get the customer to buy , like a free refrigerator and 1,500 rooms to go card none of which have been provided to date , full month after purchase now

The purchase experience was excellent. I was deployed overseas and was not able to view property in person. My wife did but she’s not very familiar with property features. I don’t like that there was no blinds in the house and garage has no opener.

Our agent Victoria Northcutt went above and beyond our expectations with our 1st home buying process. Also Daniel Contreras has been outstanding with helping us navigate the process of maintaining our new home. Have already been recommended Legend homes as well as our new neighborhood to many people.
