So far we haven't really had to use the warranty, which is of course what you really want. We did have a sprinkler line bust but were told to just wait for our warranty checkup in like a whole month vs just having someone come look at it.

The only thing I didn't like was the need for a second appraisal. The lender works with these new homes and likely uses the same appraiser. They should never have come out before they knew it was completed and ready. Instead, I had to pay for a second appraisal that should have never been needed. [name removed], my builder contact, was awesome. Did a great walktrhough with my agent since I was moving from out of state and did another one when I got in to town. He responded quickly to any questions I had and had the home ready for move in. [name removed] was also awesome through the purchase and answered all of my questions and sent great information to help with the move in.

Incentives and rate buy down. They did a good job building the house. Minimal warranty requests so far. But the sales people could communicate better.

Many smaller things have not been fixed that we pointed out before moving on. There was also supposed to be something done to the foundation that has not been done yet. [name removed] and [name removed] were great with communication and were extremely helpful. We would like a timeline of when some of the things may be fixed though that we noted before our move in.

I liked: the way we were sent updates on the progress from [name removed], the way the builder/[name removed] has interacted with us and solved our outlying issues. The thing I didn't like was the care different contractors i.e. tile and brick contractors took during initial installation. While visiting from out of state I would drop by the house to check on the progress and I found there were instances of unprofessionalism and a lack of respect for the property.

I would have really appreciated the ability to have prepaid upgrades. There are a number of things that were easy and cost effective to do during construction and now I am having to spend more to do these after the fact.
