We did not feel fully informed beforehand, and the manager’s responses were very slow.”

The main thing we disliked was not getting any information on the appliances before we agreed to the package. Originally we were told we would have the make/model information prior to agreeing, however the sales rep ordered the appliances without giving us the information first. We did not end up liking the fridge or washer/dryer set so we're now in the process if paying more out of pocket for better appliances. I wish we would've been offered different return or cancellation options.

I didn't like how Inspire nitpicked minor issues. Such as requesting a transcript related to minor IRS initiated correction related to my 2023 federal tax filing.

The entire side of our backyard was filled with bark instead odd grass. I don’t know any home that or person that would cover a third of their yard in bark … even on the side of the house. We also immediately had an issue with our laundry socket and no one was very helpful. Way finally found sometime and was told they couldn’t do sniffing and to submit a warranty ticket but when I went to do that, the website wouldn’t let me. I then called and had to leave a message. A gentleman showed up at my doorstep about 5 minutes later. He was amazing and helpful and super kind and knowledgeable. He got us taken care of and went above and beyond. I appreciated him greatly.

The team has been very helpful and responsive to all of our request. Only issue I’ve had was when they cleared the back yard everything was just pushed to the tree line. Leaving t-post and silt fence along with a big pile of dirt the length of the tree line. “Property line is 40 feet past tree line”

I like to people working for centuries, including sales, builder representative and the warrantee guy. They are the best employees a company can have: patient, enthusiastic, listening, and problem solving. The employees I met during my purchase experience made me to choose centuries community instead of others.

[name removed] the sales agent was great and contracting went well. [name removed] the super was very knowledgeable Areas for improvement: - better awareness of and accounting for federal holidays and impacts that may have on inspections when scheduling closing dates. our closing date was pushed because no one accounted for the Juneteenth holiday and how that might impact building/codes office staff. Knowing the city of lebanons repuation around holidays, it would probably have made sense to have scheduled the closing for a day later from the beginning to to avoid finding out last minute that closing is being moved after you've already scheduled and paid movers, appliance delivery, contractors, etc. - better alignment between what the superintendent thinks the correction the contractors will do is and what the contractors actually do. Examples from our house include how vertical gaps between floor and shoe mold and relocated strike plates on door frames. We were told shoe mold would probably be repositioned as you don't want to caulk that space but contractors just caulked the space. For strike plates, we were told they would chisel/drill them out to lay flat but none of the gaps from previous placement would be wood filled/caulked or painted. Contractors didn't chisel anything but caulked the gaps from previous - [name removed] did have someone come chisel them once notified after we closed. While neither fixes are necessarily problematic it can be frustrating to expect one thing and receive another. - A nice to have that we had with previous builders would be providing updates between contract and close when the house is actively under construction - so pictures of progress, brief status updates (drywall completed, etc) so that you feel more in the loop and aware as purchaser, especially when you're not close by to drive by or check in

What I liked most about my purchase experience was how professional, communicative, and helpful Century Communities was throughout the entire process. They were incredibly knowledgeable and worked seamlessly with me, my broker, and my real estate agent to make sure everything went smoothly. One of the biggest factors that attracted me to the sale was the $30,000 in concessions they offered, which made a huge difference. From start to finish, Century Communities made me feel supported and confident in my decision. Also, they were extremely positive, transparent, and honest about the process which put me to ease and made me feel hopeful as I was very nervous.

Just the back and forth of being told I can get the 3-2-1 buy down but then being told no by the lender because they stated that other parties of century may not know how it actually works. I was told I would have that buy down and paid my earnest fee then they said no because of the closing costs being covered. I think the communication on buy downs should be done by the correct party before the customer starts the paperwork so there are no blind sides during the contract to move in process.
